Alma SA, together with the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center completed the pilot implementation of the GICOMP system in Industry IKEA factory in Zbąszynek. GICOMP is a system for monitoring and controlling the electricity consumption of computer equipment. It has been deployed on more than 60 computers in offices and production halls in IKEA Industry factory.

The agreement with IKEA Industry acquired to install the system and preparation of reports containing analysis of the current energy consumption and savings achieved through the use of the system (which reached above 30%). The project results were presented at a meeting of IKEA Global Energy Team in Bratislava 11th February 2015.

IKEA Idustry factory in Zbąszynek manufactures furniture and components for the IKEA group. It is the largest wooden furniture factory in the world.
